Whats New With Inventory & Production?
Alfa Romeo – Some dealers have a good amount of inventory and some have empty lots – LOL! Most dealers are expecting more inventory in October/November.
Acura – Still very low inventory for the RDX and ILX. The TLX has it a little better and the MDX has it a little better than the TLX but no dealer is swimming with inventory.
Audi – There seems to be inventory for the Q3 & Q5 models. There are some 2022 Q7’s in-stock and inbound if you’re flexible on colors and options. 2023 Q7’s are now in production and should start hitting dealer’s lots at the end of October/November. Every other model is very slim pickens. Audi says all 2023 models should be built with all safety features that were missing on the 2022 models. Factory orders are taking between 4-6 months – plan ahead and start early!
BMW – All of the SUVs have steady production (X3, X5, X6, X7) although some are missing available features like 3-row seats, leather and Luxury Seating. Limited production for the X5 45e (electric) X1, X2, X4, 3 series, 4 series, 5 series, 7 series & 8 series. What is this world coming to?!?!
Chevy – Still no steady flow of inventory. Factory orders are taking at least 4+ months to almost 1 year still.
Cadillac – Still no steady flow of inventory. Factory orders are taking at least 4+ months to almost 1 year.
Chrysler – Slim inventory for Pacificas – Factory orders are taking 4-5 months on average. The deals are actually really good if you are coming out of any Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram or Alfa Romeo lease. Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge & Ram companies have been trying to minimize dealer’s inventory and go to a concept of factory ordering cars for all of their customers. Plan ahead and lets place an order.
Dodge – Slim inventory for Durangos and even less for Chargers and Challengers – Factory orders are taking 2-5 months. That’s a crazy spread of time – right? Not a clue why every now and then one gets built within 2 months and others take 5 or 6 months. Again, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge & Ram companies have been trying to minimize dealer’s inventory and go to a concept of factory ordering cars for all of their customers. Plan ahead and lets place an order.
Ford – Looks like all dealers are getting lots of Explorers! All other models look to have minimal inventory. Factory orders are taking anywhere from 4 months to 1 year or more.
GMC – Still no steady flow of inventory. Factory orders are taking at least 4+ months to almost 1 year still.
Honda – Still no steady flow of inventory.
Hyundai- DYI Dealer Reports only for this brand
Infiniti – Slim inventory and will most likely not change until 2023. If you’re flexible on colors and options this is a brand I can assist with for out-of-stock and inbound vehicles. No factory orders. Prices have gone up drastically.
Jeep – Limited Inventory on dealers lots and if it’s on a dealers lot it’s going for a PREMIUM. Factory orders are the way to go for all Jeeps. Plan ahead as most Jeeps take about 12 weeks to be built assuming no delays.
KIA – DYI Dealer Reports only for this brand
Jaguar – Most of dealer’s lots are empty and very few cars trickling in. Both of these signs tend to say they’re probably not offering any good incentives either:)
Lexus – Slim inventory and will most likely not change until 2023. The only model that some dealers have inventory on is the RX and even that is slim. If you’re flexible on colors and options, I can assist with this brand for out-of-stock and inbound vehicles. No factory orders.
Land Rover/Range Rover – Most of dealer’s lots are empty and inbound inventory is pre-sold. Not much I can help with here.
Lincoln – Looks like all dealers have some Corsair’s! All other models look to have minimal inventory. Factory orders are taking anywhere from 4 to 6 months. Plan ahead and let’s place an order.
Mazda – Inventory on the CX-5 and CX-9 models look like they are getting back to something close to normal by the end of August/early September. More of the base and lower end trim levels will most likely show up at the end of September/early October. Now is the time to go after a Mazda!
Mercedes – Nightmares with production and terrible pricing. Not able to assist with this brand. If you want to do it on your own, My DIY Dealer Report® will definitely save you money.
Nissan – Slim inventory and will most likely not change until 2023. No factory orders. Prices have gone up drastically.
Porsche – Macans and Cayennes are in-stock and inbound. Nothing with 718 or 911’s in the near future.
Ram – Limited Inventory on dealer’s lots and if it’s on a dealer’s lot it’s going for a PREMIUM. Factory orders are the way to go for all Rams. Plan ahead as most Rams take about 12 weeks to be built assuming no delays.
Subaru – Some inventory in-stock and in-bound. If you’re flexible with colors and options I can try to find you something. Otherwise I can factory order you a car in about 10-12 weeks. Let’s plan ahead and place an order.
Toyota – Slim inventory and will most likely not change until 2023. If you want to do it on your own, My DIY Dealer Report® will definitely save you money.
Volvo – Some 2022 models left and 2023s are arriving by the end of the month. If you’re flexible with colors and options I can try to find you something. If your exact Volvo is not available I can factory order it and it should arrive between 3-4 months. Plan ahead!
VW – There is some inventory for Tiguans and Atlas depending on the trim level you’re looking for. If you’re flexible on colors and options, I can assist with this brand for out-of-stock and inbound vehicles.
